Never Kevin is a solo-electronic artist (Nevin Kosinski) based in Providence, RI. Growing up, he bounced back and forth between Rhode Island and Bristol county, Massachusetts. Music was always an escape from a world that never quite felt comfortable — from singing in the shower and school chorus, to a band by the name of Bochek that formed in 2012. It was in Bochek that Nevin learned how to exist in the world through artistic expression.

Fast forward to 2025, and Never Kevin has his debut EP Initial Thoughts via Funnybone Records. It’s a mixture of sampled and original material, both digital and analog. He pulls from influences all across the musical spectrum, with an emphasis on the DIY mentality. It’s poppy, jazzy, noisy, yet relaxed, with just enough edge to keep you on your toes.
