Mx. Autumn is the musical project of New York sound and visual artist Woods Raye. Their music explores traditions in ambient composition and folk songwriting, set against a backdrop of field recordings and cinematic soundscapes, with influences ranging from Pauline Oliveros, to Nils Frahm, to Arthur Russell. Following their 2024 debut record Finding Language under the moniker Autumn, Raye has unveiled their follow-up record Bed of Sparks to be released January 9, 2026 (via Funnybone Records) under the alias Mx. Autumn.
